I’ve found it helpful to keep track of events I’ve attended over the years. Here you will find past events I’ve attended in past years. Events I have planned for the current year can be found on the home page.
2024 – was a busy year. So busy I didn’t have time to record all the events I attended. If you were looking you probably saw me at the following events:
- Wichita VMUG Christmas Party
- Kansas City VMUG – Presenting
- Omnissa One
- VMware Explore – Presenting
- NVIDIA GTC
2023 is off to a great start. Lots of conferences are returning to in person and I’m already booking rooms for some of them. If you’d like to catch me at a conference here are some of the ones I am planning on attending. Currently I don’t have any sessions I’m presenting but will add them if I given the opportunity. If you can’t find me at an event you can hit me up on twitter (@wonder_nerd). I’m planning on the following events:
- Wichita VMUG meetings as time allows
- GPU Tech Conference (spring) (online) – March 20th to the 23rd
- 3 proposed sessions none accepted
- VMware Explore US (in person) – August 21st to 24th
- Call for papers has not been announced as of this posting
- Kansas City VMUG UserCon (Date TBD)
2022 was a year of hybrid events. It has also been a busy one for me, not so much with the events but teaching at classes at K-State. I taught two this year, CMST-315 (Intro to Sys Admin) and CMST-460 (Principals of Software Engineering). If you were looking for me at events I made it to 5 this year. They were:

- Kansas City VMUG User Con (in person) – October 27th
- Paid sponsor session – Dell APEX
- Wichita VMUG Christmas Party (in person) – December 13th
2021 hasn’t been the year to catch me in person at conferences for obvious reasons. I’ve still been attending them, just virtually, which means you can find me in the conference’s social channels or you can hit me up on twitter (@wonder_nerd). I’m planning on the following events:
- GPU Tech Conference, April 12-23; Sessions:
